Freshman Forum
Freshman Forum is comprised of ~50-60 appointed members of Auburn’s class of first-year students who aim to represent the interests of their peers. Over the course of the year, the group has worked to gather feedback on various topics concerning the student experience from the freshman perspective and provided this feedback to the appropriate working group within SGA, shadowed different facets of SGAʼs Cabinet and Senate to develop mentorship relationships and gain a deeper understanding of the organization’s operations and mission, and participated in personal and professional development opportunities to hone their leadership skills and values.
Mentorships can range from shadowing any of the Senate Committees, helping plan Hey Day, helping oversee the Elections processes, offering feedback on current Facilities projects, various Campus Resources, and everything in between!
Applications for the 2024-2025 Freshman Forum term are now open on AUinvolve and are due Tuesday, September 3 at 4:45 p.m.
Be sure you are logged in to AUinvolve to access the application!
