Parking and Transportation is an area that the University Operations team- within SGA-works to gather feedback from the student body. This feedback helps inform the student team as they have the opportunity to oversee initiatives in several areas that impact a students’ day-to-day interaction with campus.
SGA and Parking and Transportation Services has a partnership with Lyft to offer a Late Night Ride Safe Program. We currently provide students free rides up to $10 within a 4-mile radius from campus. The weekday program runs on Sunday-Friday nights from 8 p.m.-12 a.m with pickup at the transit loop by the Jordan-Hare Stadium or RBD Library Deck. The weekend program runs on Thursday-Saturday nights from 8 p.m.-1 a.m with pickup between South Gay Street and Wilmore Drive. This service offers Auburn University students a safe ride home.
