Creed Day

A day meant to highlight and celebrate the spirit of the Auburn Creed. Booths set up around campus have activities surrounding lines of the Creed!

 

 

 

 

Ask Me Days

 ”Ask Me” occurs the first week of the Fall and Spring semesters. Members of SGA stand on the concourse to help students find their way around campus or to answer questions on a variety of topics pertaining to Auburn. We also gather feedback from the student body and also answer any questions about campus life students may have. 

 

 

Spring Ring Week

Rings are reserved exclusively for students who have received over 75 hours in good standing and have reached junior year. This week provides an opportunity to learn more about this honored tradition!

 

 

 

 

Spring Election Week

This week SGA encourages students to use their voice and vote for President, Vice-President, Treasurer, School’s Council, Miss Auburn, and Senator positions.

Ring Night

Students who have completed over 75 hours are eligible to purchase rings and then participate in Ring Night. The recipient taps their rings against the seal and then dips it in the President’s fountain to leave the spirit of Auburn in the ring and its owner forever.

Up All Night

In honor of exam week and late nights in the library, SGA hosts Up All Night! Each evening there are different events like midnight pizza, donuts in the library, or late-night “breakfast” at the Edge. Just something to make exams season a little more bearable!

 

SEC Exchange

Every July, SGA Exec attends the SEC Exchange. They meet with SGA executive boards across the SEC to share ideas and encourage one another.

Camp War Eagle Pep Rallies

Freshman Forum Applications

Freshman Forum is a group of approximately fifty freshman students who serve as the voice of the freshman class in SGA by actively garnering feedback from the class they serve and presenting that feedback to the appropriate team within SGA. 

 

Lobby Board Applications

Auburn University’s Student Lobby Board is tasked with advocating for positive change at Auburn University, promoting governmental relations with local, state, and federal representatives, and coming together to better educate each other on the issues facing our city, state, and nation today. 

 

 

 

 

Organizational Seating Programming Allocation 

OSP is SGA’s academic-incentive-based system used to promote and determine reserved organizational seating at football games. All Auburn University chartered, permanent student organizations are encouraged to participate!

Join SGA at Jordan-Hare Stadium to participate in shaker distribution at 3pm the Friday before every home game. This is a unique volunteer opportunity for any Auburn student to have a hand in providing a staple of Auburn’s gameday spirit: shakers!!

 

 

 

 

 

Fall Election Week

This week SGA encourages students to use their voice and vote for Miss Homecoming.

The traditional ring and women's dinner ring sit on top of the Auburn seal- that sits in front of Langdon Hall on campus.

 

Hey Day

In 1947, students returning from WWII felt unseen on campus, so the Auburn student body decided to take initiative by having a day that would unite the Auburn Family and promote a friendly atmosphere known as Hey Day. Participate in this day by wearing a name tag and greeting others to bring all the members of Auburn closer together!

Better Relations Day

Started in 1948 to build and promote the best possible relationship between the University of Alabama and Auburn University. Student representatives meet to share leadership ideas and policies to increase the quality of the peer institutions.
